TRUST DIGITAL NAMES NICK TURNER VICE PRESIDENT OF RESELLER AND SERVICE PROVIDER SALES

Industry Veteran Will Build Partnerships To Serve Rapidly Growing iPhone Markets

McLean, Virginia – September 17, 2009 – Trust Digital, the leader in enterprise mobility management (EMM) for smartphones, today announced that Nick Turner has joined the company as Vice President of Reseller and Service Provider Sales. Turner will be responsible for overseeing Trust Digital's partnership and channel strategy in markets where enterprises are rapidly adopting the Apple iPhone™ for business use.

“Business users want flexibility in device options beyond BlackBerry, and the iPhone is a popular choice to meet that need,” said David Goldschlag, president and CTO for Trust Digital. “We are seeing growing global demand for our product from business IT as they search for a way to control and manage their mobile devices including the iPhone. Nick Turner has an impressive track record building partnerships and successfully expanding companies into new markets and geographies. His experience and expertise will be invaluable to Trust Digital as we establish our presence in key iPhone markets.”

The momentum of iPhone adoption is a global phenomenon with carrier partners now operating in over 80 countries. In August Zack Investment Research reported that Apple has sold over 13 million iPhones in the first nine months of fiscal 2009, a 182.0% increase from the comparable year-ago period. The new iPhone 3G S is fueling that momentum with sales reaching the 1 million mark in just three days after its introduction. With Apple’s addition of "always-on" device encryption, tethering, resource control and on-demand VPN, many business users believe the device is enterprise-ready and now IT is seeking a single console to manage these smartphones.

In his new role at Trust Digital, Nick Turner will work globally with iPhone carrier partners and enterprise value added resellers to deliver the Trust Digital EMM platform so that businesses can manage and secure the iPhone and other non-Blackberry devices. The Trust Digital EMM platform provides IT administrators with a management console for the iPhone similar to the Blackberry Enterprise Server which businesses have long used to manage their corporate smartphones.

“There’s an immense market shift underway. Enterprises want to tap the potential of the iPhone and other devices like it to deliver applications to an increasingly mobile workforce,” said Nick Turner, vice president of reseller and service provider sales. “It is rare to find a product, such as the Trust Digital EMM platform, that squarely meets such a big market shift and I am excited to align these capabilities with key partners around the world.”

Before joining Trust Digital, Nick Turner was Vice President of Global Business Development at Telcordia Technologies where he was responsible for extending their presence into the mobile operator market. Turner also held executive level positions at 3CLogic and was Vice President of Business Development at NexTone where he spent several years launching the company’s Europe, Middle East and Africa division that grew to represent 40% of the company’s annual bookings.
