TRUST DIGITAL SOLIDIFIES POSITION AS
ENTERPRISE MOBILITY MANAGEMENT LEADER IN 2008

Widescale Customer Deployments, Support for Blockbuster Devices and Industry Accolades Showcase Company Innovation

McLean, Virginia – February 10, 2009 – Trust Digital, the leading enterprise mobility management provider, today announced it has exceeded 2008 goals for company growth with continued momentum in several industries, including healthcare and government, and with the expanded capabilities of its Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) platform. Trust Digital’s EMM™ platform support for the Apple iPhone™ is the first product to adequately secure and manage a truly heterogeneous smartphone environment, allowing organizations to embrace the benefits a more mobile workforce.

2008 Highlights include:

  • Year-over-year revenue growth exceeded 300 percent
  • The average number of devices involved in initial deployments now exceeds 1,700, indicating large enterprises are now mobilizing their workforce
  • Trust Digital’s EMM license shipments exceeded all previous years combined since the company’s inception

Notwithstanding current and forecasted economic conditions, Trust Digital expects its strong growth to continue in 2009, driven by rapid smartphone innovation, consumer adoption of smartphones for work and play and the mandate for enterprise CIO’s to secure corporate information while managing mobility costs.  Enterprise reliance on the Trust Digital EMM platform to address these drivers will continue as CIOs accelerate their mobility initiatives to enhance workforce productivity.

According to estimates from analyst research firm IDC, close to 75 percent of the U.S. workforce will be mobile by the end of 2011, with workers becoming increasingly dependent on devices like the consumer-oriented Apple iPhone or the Palm Pre™. Useful for accessing line-of-business applications and equipped with sophisticated features like global positioning systems (GPS), user-generated applications and push email, these devices are leading the convergence of technology designed for work and personal use; however, if not properly managed and secured, these features increase enterprise security risks of a data breach and virus attacks.

SEAMLESS MOBILE STRATEGIES FOR GOVERNMENT AND HEALTHCARE CUSTOMERS
With a customer roster of over 125 enterprise and government companies, Trust Digital has helped organizations expand their use of mobile enterprise applications including email.  With the addition of the United States Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) to its customer base in September, four out of nine Air Force commands now rely on Trust Digital to meet the rigorous standards set forth in the Defense Information Systems Agency's (DISA) Wireless Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG). In addition, government agencies like the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) turned to Trust Digital to help secure and manage ruggedized D-DACT devices. These devices are currently used by dismounted infantry company, platoon commanders, squad and fire team leaders for situational awareness, command and control, navigation, basic mission planning and electronic messaging.

EMM deployments in the healthcare industry by biotherapeutics leader, CSL Behring – as well as the largest managed healthcare provider in the USA and one of the largest university medical centers in the country – are making doctors and nurses more productive by offering immediate, secure access to data and real-time patient information with mobile devices while ensuring HIPAA compliance.  Mobility initiatives also help facilitate the move from paper-based processes to electronic data collection to reduce medication errors, improve efficiency of care and enable the observation and monitoring of patients for research and quality improvement.

PRODUCT INNOVATION IMPROVES TOTAL COST OF OWNERSHIP
New features like Remote Smartphone Assist™, added to the platform in February, give IT helpdesks the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and remotely control user’s smartphones and PDAs from a central location using the Trust Digital EMM Console. Trust Digital’s announcement in December of the industry’s first platform capable of securing and managing Windows Mobile, Palm, Symbian and Apple devices from a centrally located console enabled device choice for users while also simplifying how IT administrators and help desk specialists implement policies, assist users and enforce compliance for mobile applications on all devices across the enterprise.

“Knowledge workers are mobile with or without the help of their CIO. Trust Digital is uniquely positioned to give CIOs the means to keep pace with smartphone technology, while securing and managing their mobile workforce," said Nick Magliato, chief executive officer, Trust Digital. "Our continued commitment to delivering innovative mobility management solutions and support for all devices helps our customers realize the productivity and efficiency gains of a faster, more accurate workforce.”

FUNDING AND INDUSTRY ACCOLADES VALIDATE TRUST DIGITAL’S CORPORATE VISION
Trust Digital secured $14.5 million of funding in November which will be used to extend the company’s EMM platform support to include Research In Motion’s BlackBerry devices, expand direct sales and channel partner support and for other working capital needs in 2009.

For its continued work to secure and manage Microsoft Exchange programs on smartphone devices, Trust Digital was named a finalist in the 2008 Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards for mobility solutions. Additionally, the InfoWorld 100 awards honored Trust Digital for its support for CSL Behring’s HeliTraxSM system, a Web-based application that tracks hemophiliac patient data including medical events and medication usage via an AT&T smartphone managed and secured by Trust Digital. Trust Digital concluded 2008 with recognition from Federal Computer Week’s Rising Star Awards and was named a finalist for both Mobile Village’s Mobile Star Awards and Pocket PC’s Best Software Awards.
